How Excellence Meets Alumni Support
Emerging as the Overall Best Graduating Student of LAUTECH with a 4.89 CGPA was a journey of discipline and divine grace from God, but it was also a journey of community. For the first time in the university’s 36-year history, the EEE Department claimed this top laurel, a milestone that felt personal to me and historic for the department.
The EEE Class ’05 Alumni Association made a profound difference during this climax of my academic career. Their commitment to excellence isn't just talk; they put it into action. Receiving their Award of Excellence as the best graduating student in both the Department and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology was a moment of immense joy. It validated every late-night study session and the meditative approach I took to my engineering courses.
Beyond the awards, the Association’s impact on the department is tangible. As a student, seeing the donation of specialized equipment like the Antenna Trainer Device showed us that those who walked these halls before us are still investing in our success.
I am deeply grateful to the Class of '05 for the recognition. Their support has inspired me to pay it forward as I pursue my goals in Robotics and IIoT. To the Association, I say a big THANK YOU for ensuring that in EEE, excellence is not just expected but it is celebrated and supported.
